Caravan Coffee open in Mount Holly Caravan Coffee Bar in Mount Holly was packed for its grand opening and Montcross Area Chamber ribbon-cutting. This is the second location for Vince Hill's popular Caravan Coffee & Dessert Bar, which has become an institution in Belmont. The new Mount Holly shop is at 117 North Main Street and is open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Several representatives of the City of Mount Holly attended along with a large crowd of Chamber members, customers, friends and neighbors. Performing that evening were Kaley Rivera & Company. Cutting the ribbon are Vince Hill along with (at his left) his wife Brenda Hill and (at his right) Irene Pharr, who manages the Mount Holly shop. H&R Block Grand Opening The expanded and renovated offices of H&R Block at 7005 E. Wilkinson Blvd., Belmont, celebrated with a reception and Montcross Area Chamber ribbon-cutting. Creative Travel hosts clients and Chamber An estimated 180 Creative Travel clients and Chamber members filled the Wisteria Inn at Stowe Manor to learn about travel opportunities, make business contacts, enjoy fantastic food and drink and in general have a great time. Just Care Plus Open in Belmont A new health care service designed to save money for those without insurance is open in the Stowe Building at 100 N. Main Street in Belmont. Just Care Plus, owned by Phil and Carol Posey (cutting ribbon), is a membership organization providing health screenings, medical testing, lab services and other non-emergency care for members. Fellow Chamber members and friends attended the open house and ribbon-cutting. The antiques, accessories and gifts gallery at 117 N. Main Street in Belmont is owned by Nan Bridgeman (center) with her husband John Bridgeman, who recently was elected to serve as Gastonia's next mayor. Surprise Me kicks off holidays with a Chamber open house.

Belmont McDonalds Pays It Forward McDonalds of Belmont and Stanton Enterprises have joined the parade of our Chamber members lending a hand to fellow businesses through the Pay It Forward Program. For only $175, any member of the Montcross Area Chamber can Pay It Forward for another business to become a Chamber member. That business will be asked to do the same when financially able.
