Sake Express open for business A third Gaston County location of Sake Express opened this week in Belmont with a ribbon-cutting and reception coordinated by the Montcross Area Chamber of Commerce. The new Japanese steakhouse and seafood restaurant is at 675 Park St., Belmont, in the Abbey Plaza Shopping Center. Sake Express also has restaurants in Mount Holly and Gastonia. Million Dollar Dog grand opening Montcross Area Chamber members and friends (human and canine) helped celebrate the grand opening of Million Dollar Dog at 7206 Wilkinson Boulevard in Belmont on July 8. After operating for four years from her home, owner Tara Pellegrino and her staff are excited about their large new facility that includes stations for self-service dog washes and even a dog-free zone where children can wait while their pets are groomed.
