The Chamber coordinates the parade for the City of Belmont. It's one of the biggest and most eagerly anticipated events of every year, traveling north on Main Street through downtown and east on Catawba to East Belmont. The first Tuesday in December is the traditional date for the Belmont parade. So, mark your 2011 calendars now for December 6.

ABOUT THROWING ITEMS FROM PARADE UNITS
Most parade participants and spectators cooperate with our request not to throw candy, or any other items, from parade units. Many wishing to distribute items arrange for someone to walk beside their float or vehicle and pass out the material to avoid the risk of injury. Thank you for your cooperation.
