Experience the beauty of the summer garden in the cool of the summer evening with music, culinary delights and special southern themed festivities planned during Come Sit A Spell. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from Something Classic Catering. Carriage rides will be available, weather permitting, from Southern Breezes Carriages. This night will feature the “Re-Purposed Planter Workshop” lead by the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden staff from 6:30-8 p.m. This workshop continues the southern traditions theme of Come Sit a Spell by helping participants create a re-purposed planter filled with seasonal plants for the garden, porch or patio. Participants will be able to choose from a variety of containers and plants. Featured Sponsor Watson Insurance. Adults $12; Seniors 60+ $10; Children 4-12 $6 Cont. Edu. Classes are a separate fee. |
