The temperature was just under 100, but the turnout of Chamber members and friends was well over when the Gastonia Grizzlies hosted "Networking After Work." Million Dollar Dog grand opening Montcross Area Chamber members and friends (human and canine) helped celebrate the grand opening of Million Dollar Dog at 7206 Wilkinson Boulevard in Belmont on July 8. After operating for four years from her home, owner Tara Pellegrino and her staff are excited about their large new facility that includes stations for self-service dog washes and even a dog-free zone where children can wait while their pets are groomed. In the photo, Tara has just cut the ribbon. Mayor's Team Takes Title
That's Stanley Mayor Chad Brown holding the first-place team trophy presented during the awards dinner at the 5th Annual Montcross Area Chamber Golf Classic Thursday, June 17, at Pine Island Country Club. Close to a hundred golfers, more than 80 sponsors and donors and dozens of volunteers made the tournament another spectacular success under the leadership of volunteer director Greg Garrison of Belmont Flooring & Design Center.
